oh sweet heaven, no! i sold the trilogy when i was a preclinical med student. i couldn’t write full time until after I took the US medical licensing exam. am on a fellowship now and writing more-or-less full-time. fer’instance, despite all the self-promo nonsense today, i got that up to 73k.

Haha, every time you mention that you had two psychiatrists for parents, I think of Brenda Chenowith’s parents on Six Feet Under. And I think they were psychoanalysts too. If you haven’t seen that show, you must.
